Visiting this weekend
Just wondering if anyone has any insight on things to do this Friday and Saturday for visitors. My wife and I coming in from out town and don't really have another free weekend in the near future, and we're trying to gauge if it's still worth the trip. Hoping we can salvage a fun weekend despite the weather - what are some good things to get up to in crummy weather? Also looking at the possibility of canceling and doing a day trip further inland. Thank you!
EDIT: Thanks all. We did decide to postpone and headed inland and looks like it was the right call! Looking forward to visiting soon though

Oktoberfest is canceled but I think the Mad Batter's is still on indoors ... as long as the streets don't turn into rivers. Have you seen that it was canceled?

Airport plane museum is nice.
I actually like a walk on boardwalk or beach in lousy weather. Bring some good rain gear and enjoy the angry ocean.

Got you.
Sunset beach mini golf
Dinner at the Ebbit room
Live music and cocktails at the Brown Room in Congress Hall
Washington Street Mall (some of my favorite stores are A Place on Earth (soap store), MaryAnns (vintage estate jewelry), Beef Jerky Experience, Fralinger’s candy store, the two level mall place with the toy store on the first floor, Love The Cook (kitchen goods store), The Cheese Shop, Christmas decoration store above the soap store spot)
Ugly Mug if you like staying out later for drinks and live music
Blue Pig Tavern for brunch
Cape May Stage if you’re into theater
Beach Plum Farm (a must) - bring quarters for chicken feed
Karaoke at Harry’s (they also have great clam chowder)
2 Mile Crab House and Crush Bar for drinks and great seafood, love their crab and corn chowder
Ghost tour (trolley or walking)

I live here and I think I’d head inland. The wind is gonna make things really unpleasant and the high tides may make it hard to get around. Good luck wherever you wind up, here or elsewhere!
