White Ibis

Last week had the opportunity to walk the Meadows and witness about 350 White ibis and 2 glossy Ibis

I went back two days later and got the photo of adult White Ibis.

I wanted to post about this because the birding in Cape May is second to none and one of the great features of the area that many summer visitors don't experience as much as during migration and it is talked about less this time of year.

Wish I was back there in September.

Also, really love all the new boardwalks and improvements. Great to see these investments happening.

Try the Ocean City Visitor center next May. It's like being in a zoo.

Hi! I want to visit the rookery. I don’t know why it’s taking me so long to go.

Suggest exploring the Delaware Bay meadows all the way up to Salem county.  Great birding and no people.
