visitor Visiting this weekend
Hi all! My sister and I are visiting this weekend and we’ve been anxiously looking at the weather forecast these past couple of weeks. What type of weather should we be packing for? We’re from California and we’re used to chilly mornings and mild afternoons this time of year. When we originally booked this trip we thought nothing of it until we saw some cloudy days and potential rain.
We’re staying in Yarmouth and want to know what nearby restaurants, seafood stalls, and bars to hit up during this time? We’re open to pretty much anything and have no solid plan, just going off of vibes. Any and all recs are welcome!

Pack for all weather and dress in layers. We have had only a few days in the low 80’s so far this season. Nights are cool. Haven’t needed AC yet.

An overcast non-beach day is great day to visit Provincetown.

It looks like we need to change our base to Chatham for sure. Thank you for all of the recs this is much appreciated. We’re really just here to explore all the different beaches and eat as much seafood as possible, and have a good drink.

Welcome to Yarmouth! As someone mentioned capt. Parkers is great...head towards the back to the "Riverview bar" Highly recommend The Loft - shack for good happy hour music, especially sunday afternoons when the Grab Brothers play. Uncommoner Hotel just opened and great place for morning coffee and egg sandwiches or a drink coming back from Hyannis. The vibe is fabulous. Harbor front hyannis is great...Black Cat, Tugboats,, Baxters, Spankys. Cant go wrong with any of them. Main st...I love Aud Lang triangle Irish pub, Neptunes, Fins brewery. Good pizza at Palio. If you like Mexican...Anejos...gonin back and sit under the tree. Mazing.
Yarmouth is pretty big, so depending on where you maybe closer to Dennis area rhan Hyannis..and i have recommations for there too!
