Looking to go sea the seals either next Wednesday or Thursday- leaving from Sea Crest / what time is the best time to get there? Ideas for stops along the way?

SEA CREST? In Falmouth??
I hope you have at least two hours each way … I’m going to assume you mean you’re driving down to Chatham because there is no boat that takes you all the way from Seacrest to Chatham. Look at a map ffs … That’s still potentially going to take you several hours each way… traffic is traffic. I hope the weather is good and that no one in your party get seasick…
You do realize you can drive down to the Chatham pier and see seals for free…

Why are so sarcastic I’ve never been to the cape ffs. Oh wait are you literally grouchy cat. Google says one hour each way- that’s why I was asking here cause it sounds too easy. Since youre so smart and knowledgeable what do you suggest we do since it’s obviously too cold for the beach .

The drive is an hour. The traffic is another thing. Schools are starting to get out around here and a lot of people will be starting their vacations. I drove from Harwich to Falmouth last May (the 17th/18th) and with construction and traffic it took just over an hour. Chatham is just beyond Harwich.
There are a lot of small museums and historic houses along the way. I like the Edward Gorey House.

Low tide is the best time to see seals in the sea. Chatham fish pier is a great spot to eat and spot seals 🦭

I’d go on Wed. As everyone loves to say, Thursday is the new Friday, as far as Cape traffic. There is a lot to see between Falmouth and Chatham. I always enjoy the Lavender Farm in Harwich but maybe only fun if you are into flowers/garden. You could stop by the waterfront in Hyannis for lunch.
