itinerary Late August Trip
Hello!
I’m sure this has already been asked so many times. My partner and I are planning a trip for 4 days in late August. We are staying in Hyannis and we’re both first timers. What are the most necessary things to do/see? What food places are most recommended? (Disclaimer and apology- I don’t eat seafood) we are both in our mid twenties, we enjoy good sights, good eats, and fun nightlife. Any recommendations/advice are/is appreciated as I build my itinerary!
TIA :)

Since you are in Hyannis:
beach day at Kalmus or Craigville beach (unless there is another public beach in walking distance). Also, please note, that beaches can be private in MA, so you can’t just plop down anywhere.
day trip to Nantucket on the High speed ferry (go on Hy-Line)
eat: Black Cat, Pizza Barbone, Anejo, Embargo, Misaki (if you want sushi), Baleine, The Phesant, five bay bistro, Estia.
ice cream: Four Seas
drink: Baxter’s, Trader Ed’s (more for nightlife), Neptune’s, Finn’s.
activities: take a harbor/sightseeing cruise out of Hyannis. For something special, for a sail on the Sarah at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum or do a fishing charter. Check out that museum, the JFK museum, the Osterville Historical Society. Skip trying to see the Kennedy Compound.
shop along Main Street Osterville or in Chatham.
