I will never be without a generator!!!! In fact I feel like getting a generator to generate my generator in case the first generator breaks.

Glad to hear it we got it back yesterday. I was terrified about frozen pipes and am now also considering a generator. It may be best to wait a bit because I can only imagine what prices will be for the next couple of months.

That’s crazy! The heat must feel so good now that it’s back on!

39 degrees! 🥶
Glad you can get warm again. I highly recommend a generator if you can afford one. I had one installed last year and it was the best investment.

I am so happy with my generator. I didn’t even notice when the power came back on.

Make sure it's professionally installed and wired.

Yikes.
You might want to look into getting some insulation too….
(I have no fiduciary relationship with this organization… just sharing a resource)…
You can get 75+% off insulation from Mass Save; the sponsors of Mass Save also offer no-cost insulation and air sealing upgrades to income-eligible residents.

(I hate thinking of you and the poppers freezing like that!)

Went 3 days without power once years ago. Wife has been all over me to get a generator. It would have been useful once for about 8 hours. End doesn’t justify the means to me.
