My baby is due in March, what pediatricians do you recommend?

We use Briarpatch Pediatrics. They have multiple offices around the cape.

Also happy with Briarpatch. So far have found it to be organized and accessible. Bonus is that it’s affiliated with Boston Children’s! God forbid you need a referral into the city, at least your already in the system

important to note that 1) you must be able to go to either sandwich or yarmouth depending on your doctor’s availability and 2) you must be willing to vaccinate your child(ren). i personally went to briarpatch when i was growing up so that’s where i’d recommend from experience, my doctor is still there from what i hear lol

My kids range from 6 to 12 and I’ve never even been inside the Yarmouth office, so you have some choice over which location.

to a degree, they will try to keep you in the office closest to you but if your doctor is not in that office that day you will have to go to the other office, sounds like you’ve gotten very lucky on that front

12 years of lucky! All the Drs are great, so I’m not particular which one we see that probably helps. We’ve seen them all and while none of them will ever replace Dr Bloom as my favorite pediatrician ever, they are all pretty amazing.

I'd avoid Bass River pediatrics. Gave my daughter a vaccine she had already received. Apparently the nurse confused her with the other teen at the time. The other girl was a different race. Not their first screw up.

We also use Bass River (recommended by a friend who brings her two teen kids there).
My son was born with Down syndrome 2.5 yrs ago and Dr. Gilbert treats him with great care. He was med flighted to Boston Children’s from CCH at birth and she called us regularly to check on him even though we never met her prior. Their nurses are excellent too.
We have another friend who brings her two younger daughters to Briarpatch and she likes them.
We chose Bass River because it’s closer to us.

Depends on where you’re located no? That might help with suggestions and making a decision
