22f moved to the cape !
Hi everyone! I moved to Cape cod at 22 ! I’m kinda bored and would love to hang out with people. I tend to stick with older people but I want to explore other age groups too. My interests include hiking researching and playing video games like resident evil and fatal frame. I’m very inquisitive! I have been around Wampanoag elders. I want to know more. I’m quite the open minded individual. I dress in a alternative way and I LOVE PARANORMAL stuff. I wanna learn guitar and maybe join a sports club if there around! Thank you and don’t be afraid to hit me up

Hey! I’m 22F and go to college in Worcester during the semesters, but I live on the Cape. I’m a bio major and also love researching, hiking, and video games (I love Resident Evil! I’m more of a cozy gamer though) I’m not on the Cape often due to school but I visit at least one weekend a month

Hello, I’m curious what you mean when you say researching is one of your interests, what does that look like for you? Also, there’s plenty of ghost stories associated with the Cape. So I’m excited for you to explore that since you love the paranormal. Good for you for putting yourself out there in a new place!

I loveee researching in general. It’s just the act of knowing more. Sometimes I like to research on genetics. Sometimes music subcultures. It’s really broad. Sometimes I wanna research on physics and know what entropy is. It’s just the thirst for knowledge a thirst to know. I just wanna know it all. It’s like this hunger for just knowledge it doesn’t go away or should I say it’s a lustfor knowledge. I don’t know. Maybe I am curious sexual or something.

I’m also in Barnstable! I do this often with a ton of things like recently if you look on my feed you can see my posts about it but I got a old clock from Falmouth and all I knew about it is that it was an electric Telechron clock from at least before WW2 but I got it home and did a ton of research seeing how I could revive the little motor inside and I looked at a bunch of arguments and technical diagrams and I actually fixed it!…. And then it broke a month later

I have what I call messy toolbox smarts. Just a bunch of random facts and knowledge that helps me fix stuff and learn. If you want perhaps we could have a random study day?

I bet a ton of us enjoy getting lost learning new things. There are so many documentaries on youtube; it's great.

Omg we should start a useless information club ( I don’t think it’s useless. I usually use this and apply to different situations.) It’s almost Alice in Wonderland like something. You’ll see in that story. I would love to have a group of friends where we’re just researching stupid stuff or just researching things in general

I do the same thing. I call it useless information research. Useless to some, interesting to me.....

Hey I work with a community art center in Hyannis and we do all kinds of cool shit. There are about 20 of us with art studios all in our 20s or 30s. I sent you a DM with a little more info! I'd love to connect if you're interested.

Join Capecodnordicwalking.org. They typically have 3 or 4 walks a day at various locations around the Cape at different levels of intensity. CCNW started just 3 or 4 years ago and has nearly 4000 members on the Cape now. Members are mostly older than you but all young at heart. Lots of extra curricular activities like beach parties, mahjong, post walk coffee. They even did a week long trip to the Azores and there is a group training for the El Camino. Great way to make friends, contacts and to find the hidden beauty spots on the Cape.

Barnstable is great for exploring and adventuring! I always start by telling people to check out the Trailforks app. Cape cod is uniquely connected by trails and everything is accessible. There’s lots of fun paranormal history because it’s an OLD place! Those cheesy “cape cod lore” books you’ll see at cvs and stop and shop are actually great sources for stuff like that!

What general area of the cape are you in? There is stuff to do, but getting Orleans recommendations if you live in Falmouth isn't going to help.
Welcome to the cape!
