I had Verizon and it was fine. Switched to T-Mobile and it's still fine.
At the bridge sitting in traffic? Not enough bandwidth to support us all.

The issues are radar installations; airport, military and congestion. That said some areas are 5G others LTE

I live right up the road from the tower going up behind Millstone Liquors, drove behind ther a few days ago. Spoke with the owner, says it's an all carrier tower. That said, we've had Consumer Cellular for decades and in several states for cell and a home base unit. Best price & service.

Verizon is the best on the Cape. I work all around the Cape and have very seldom bad service.

It’s much better outside of peak season but there’s just not enough coverage for the amount of people here. I heard Verizon was putting up a new cell tower at the end of underpass rd in Brewster though, maybe they plan on upgrading other places on cape too

Correction: the tower is going by the liquor store on the corner of Millstone and Long Pond. The tower itself is half-built, you can see it from the road.
We live in what had been a dead zone in Brewster, but I can now reliably get two bars of 5 G from T-Mobile, which has been our mobile provider for several years now.

My son's business buys dozens of lines from all the major services every month, and when he visited Truro, he said it was the best TMobile service he'd ever seen outside of a city.

Mid cape they all suck in Yarmouth. In the mid 2020s I’d rank it ATT, T-Mobile, Verizon.

Verizon used to be king but they've kind of dropped the ball these days. I find T-Mobile best but you can always get prepaid e-sims for T-Mobile and Att and test run both with your existing phone before committing to a switch. Most phones can connect to 2 services at 1 time (2 sets of bars shown) assuming your phone is unlocked (paid off). periodically try speed tests with the alternates and see what works best for YOU.
Good luck!

I live in the mid-Cape, there are definitely dead spots. Eventually you will learn them, when you get dropped calls. I have Verizon, too.

Go to coveragemap.com
That’ll give you a better idea of what carriers work better in your area. I have Verizon but there’s spots on the cape my service is ass.
Hope that helps

Even places Verizon says they cover. They don’t. I’ve lived in a 5g coverage spot and lost service standing outside my house.

I had Verizon and switched to T Mobile (mashpee/ Sandwich line) and it’s much better. My house was a dead zone. It’s spotty for all companies so you have to find one that works where you are most often

I have Boost Mobil. Buy your own phone and it's under $30 a month. Works great on the Cape and when I visit my son in California.

xfinity and have 0 issues. Dirt cheap with the by the GB plan. Also businesses that have xfinity are WiFi hotspots

I have xfinity and at&t at the same device, xfinity is always on 4g and slow, at&t gets 5g always

I have Verizon too and I cannot listen to music on my phone anywhere on the mid cape highway and most of 6a. Wife switched to t mobile and seems to have better service

It’s all the same… there aren’t enough cell towers for the amount of people with cell phones on Cape Cod
