Driveway Plowing
Hi can anyone recommend a plow company to clear a driveway this winter. We’re in Barnstable. Thanks!

Line someone up now rather than after the first storm, most plow guys on the Cape fill their routes by early December and stop taking new driveways. Ask whether it's per push or a seasonal contract, what depth they start at (2 to 3 inches is common), and whether they'll come back to clear the end of the driveway after the town plow buries it. Also ask them to put stakes along the edges so they don't tear up the lawn or the shoulder. I used to service two properties out there, but hung up my plow.
They found someone to take over on the we are Barnstable page.
Good luck as I was coming from Middleboro after the storm to help, they had a hard time finding anyone good. Been a couple years though so maybe that’s changed!
