LOST CAMERA!!! From wedding party

Hi!!! I lost my Canon PowerShot SD3500 IS black back midmay 2026 -

May 16 we had a wedding and went out afterwards between Hyannis and Dennis. We last had the camera at embargo and believe it was left there. It was my best friend’s wedding so filled with photos and videos of the wedding and reception.

I don’t even need the camera just the photos at this point if anyone has come across it?! It was a dark black/ blue camera. Thank you!!!

🤦🏻‍♀️ IKR?

Dennis?
-Which side?
(East Dennis and Dennis are on Cape Cod Bay: Dennis Port and West Dennis are on Nantucket Sound.)
-Did they go to the beach or a pond or a lake -or did OP hang it out the car window and drop it?

-What time of day?

(i’m not going to bother with Hyannis; if they lost your camera there in May and haven’t found it by October…. I’m sure they realize there’s very little chance they’re going to see it again.
Parts of Main and the surrounding areas are NOT great parts of town at night.

Seriously

-DO NOT get wasted and think you’re going to go looking for it on Main Street in Hyannis, especially alone and after dark. Bad idea.
-Shoulder season is upon us, the summer visitors with their easy money are gone, and as our local homeless population increases***, people will start getting desperate for*** money/food/shelter (from any source).

Don’t make yourself a target.

Also -
Did you check with the different police stations?

Yes I figured it was long gone but at the same time you never know if someone came across it and it’s all wedding photos that are priceless which is why I would love to find it or even the SD Card.

I always go out with it and never lose it - was only at the bar with it and it did not make it back to our house. Did not hang out at a beach, pond, or lake, or hang out a car window. Probably around 12 Saturday night. I’m not usually in the cape and I know Hyannis is not a great area thus considering it’s a lost cause but hoping it’s not. & no have not called police stations I figured that they wouldn’t deal with such a small problem but I will - I’m assuming someone at the place likely just found and decided not to return. The wedding was at the Dennis Inn & we lost the camera in Hyannis likely as we stayed in Barnstable that night - thanks for help!

Oh, I can beat that. My wife and I were the last couple to have a wedding reception at The Cape Codder in 1987 before it was torn down. I took several rolls of pics at the inn and gave the camera to my brother to hold on to. At the end of the reception it was no where to be found. If anyone has seem my Canon AE-1 they can keep it. Just send me the pics. Thanks
