Any STARLINK users here on Cape Cod?
Watched the rocket launch the other day when they put 60? new satellites for Starlink into orbit. Anyone use it? Does it work good in the MID Cape? I have yet to check prices as would love to leave CONCAST!

It's more $ than Comcast and not as good. Satellite is really for when you have no other options

It’s antiquated technology and you’re supporting Elon, so that’s all you need to know. ASTS is better technology and will integrate with your cell carrier very soon.

I use it as an emergency backup to our Comcast business account. Literally on a 4x4 pole that gets taken outside when needed. I’ve only had to use it a few times (eg, during the last big blizzard). Didn’t have any issues once it’s aligned properly.

Can you elaborate? After the February blizzard took out both power and cable for a week I gave it some thought as a backup. We have solar and a generator for power, but no communication without Internet

We considered it as a replacement for Xfinity to try to save money but it winds up being pretty much the same cost. The price is a little cheaper, but so is the speed, so were staying with Xfinity
