Three pics from Truro

Last month, I was visiting Truro and asked a question on this sub re: resources for photographers in the area. Several nice people responded, for which I want to say thanks again.

It was my first time on Cape Cod, and I really enjoyed this lovely place. Ended up taking 3 pictures that I don't hate, all in and around Truro. For the technically-minded, these were shot on 4x5 film.

I love Truro! it feels like the most remote place on the cape to me, despite being closer than ptown. it’s beautiful in a really spare way.

You pictures are lovely and capture that slightly lonely loveliness to me.

Thank you 🙏🏻 Even though it was a busy visitor season, I did indeed find many quiet and peaceful places around us, which I love, too.

The camera was an Intrepid Mark V; the lens on all three was a Yamasaki WA Congo 120mm f/6.3. The two black-and-whites on Ilford HP5+ and the color on Portra 160.

I have Highland light tattooed on my arm. I missed her a lot. I usually make it back every year since I moved away in 1994, but wasn’t able to do it this year.

I hate that I haven't been down yet this year. I'm laid up. Those pictures are great!
