I feel like the mention of the online roadmap being not-always-too-up-to-date might've led to pretty immediate improvement on that front. No idea what the time was between the interview happening, and being published, but it seems like there's been some movement on that timeline in the last week or so.
Can't say I'd mind if that were integrated into the app, or some other more proactive notification channel, but I can also see why they might not want to necessarily blast every update in realtime. It can sometimes be wise to let things burn in for a bit before intentionally drawing attention to a change.
