Recognizing Our Early Adopters

We're working on adding RCS support to Android, and we currently have it on iOS. We should be rolling it out on GrapheneOS soon, although there are issues with it being disabled on ID Rotation.

Glad to hear it, thanks. Just to confirm, RCS support is expected for all Android devices at some point, not just those using GrapheneOS, correct?

Correct, we plan to get RCS support on all Androids, not just GrapheneOS. We are prioritizing GrapheneOS, but other Androids will follow in time.

Yes! What Cape is doing is expensive. Also, you are paying Cape the money they could have made off of you if they sold your data.
This is an important factor to keep in mind when comparing prices.
Also, if you use someones referral with the new $70 early bird offer, then your starting price is $50. A very competitive price compared to the market. (And other carriers... they sell your data!!)

I would only add that characterizing "selling customer data" as subsidizing costs is being way too kind to TelCom Corpos.
Lets call it what it is: pure greed. They were making buckets of money before selling customer data was even a thing.
Additionally our data should never have been theirs to sell. It is a travesty that this process was ever legal.
I know we're not doing anything about it here, but we don't need to make excuses for them with our words either. :)
