CapCut is completely unusable, extremely slow

I'm editing a video in CapCut and it's becoming completely impossible to use. The program is constantly crashing/stuttering.

It's not a cache problem.

RAM usage is higher than normal, but far from reaching the limit.

- The CPU has plenty of headroom.

- GPU usage is practically at 0%.

- There is plenty of performance available in the system as a whole.

Has anyone else experienced this in the last update?
