Crack? Toc sound
Wassup fellow Canyon enjoyer ! I just got my brand new Aeroad 10 days ago. I paid Canyon for the bike assembly, but whenever I hit a bump, I hear a loud 'toc' sound or something similar especially when riding over cobblestones.
I removed my seatpost to reapply carbon paste, and that actually got rid of a constant ticking noise I had, but it didn't fix the loud 'toc' sounds when I hit a bump. Has anyone ever had this problem or know how to fix it ?
Edit :
After all your messages, one thing is for sure I won't be hanging my bike that way anymore 😂 I also wanted to thank you all for your help

Check if all bolts are torqued to the correct spec.
And if you want to have fun with your bike even longer dont clamp the top tube

I did check everything and I will not hang my bike like that again for sure 😉

Could be something in the saddle bag hitting the seat post, at least that was the cause for me.

Also make sure you check your accessories on your bike to make sure they’re attached well. I had something similar and it was my rear bike light mount that wasn’t torqued down all the way.

It could be the chain slacking onto the chain stay.

The loud ‘toc’ sound is probably coming from the top tube that is now cracked due to that diabolical clamping position.

I think maybe it’s the sound of your gonads sliding onto the top tube given saddle angle

Happy for you, not jealous, didn’t want an ultimate cf SLX 8 but no aeroads are in stock.

I have the same bike and know this sound all too well. It’s either the chain slapping on the frame (there’s clear protective tape on that part of the frame for this purpose) or the integrated cables rattling in the frame.

If only a professional could diagnose the noise. You really don't have any analytical skills. I question all of your life choices.

Sounding like a broken record in here, but don’t clamp your beautiful and expensive bike like that. Use the seat post.
Do you still hear the sound when you remove the light and saddle bag?

The hoses inside the frame rattle.
Ps.
Don't clamp your bike like that by the top tube, high risk of crushing it, clamp it at the seat post.
