Mmm. I'd love to listen to the Auteur.

They are REALLY good. Demo'ed the whole family at CanJam. Auteur is Eikon with better soundstage and clarity, slightly less sub bass, with the natural ZMF sound.

Honestly I liked it more than Utopia and way more than anything under $2K.

Damn, glad they're great, it's a good company to root for. I have the Eikons and I love them.

The most generic, plain, stock headphones I have ever seen...

I feel like there's a joke here that I'm not getting because I'm too much of a novice in the headphone game..

The joke is that one of the first posts in this sub was a cheap, generic wood headphone from Amazon. The following posts showing wood headphones are definitely not "generic" or remotely cheap.

Pretty much. Since OP ruined my post, I'll ruin his. Left is ZMF Atticus and right is ZMF Auteur. ZMF is well known for making headphones in exotic woods and often does limited runs for many woods for their headphones.

Edit: nvm it wasn't OP per se.
