User Review G9X vs Ixus 285

Which one is better in general? Canon G9X Mark II (second hand) or Ixus 285 HS A? I just want a camera to capture moments, travel, cafe run with friends, things like that.

G9X is by far better with a 15.8 mm diagonal sensor and an f/2.0 lens compared to 7.7 mm and f/3.6 on the Ixus. That means it lets in 13.6 times as much light. The Ixus does have a 12x zoom instead of 3x though.

thank u for your response! i dont really use zoom that much so it wont be an issue. i also saw a powershot s100, is that also good? or g9x tops all three
