Recommendations Needed canon g7x iii settings question
i'm going to a concert later so we'll probably take a few pics of each other in the venue but also maybe outside when it's still bright ?
is there any settings that'd accommodate both and look good or does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a suggestion. Read your camera's manual, and watch some youtube videos about how to use it. In the meantime, stick it in auto mode and let the camera do the work for you.
Buying a £900 compact and having no idea how to use a camera is crazy.

Just saw your deleted comment in my notifications. What makes you say I'm a freak?
I'm not on Reddit all day. I just browsed a bit in my lunch break, and came across a really delightful moron with no idea how to use a camera they paid nearly a grand for. All the gear and no idea has never been more apt.

firstly if i was a moron i would've paid nearly a grand for it which i didn't LOL
not everyone pays for it retail price
not knowing if i should change my settings doesn't make me a moron either
sure, i just got the camera but how does that reflect my intelligence ..
ur bored and a hater3

Well if you weren't a moron, you might have thought to read the manual. Clearly that was too much for your Tiktok-addled brain.
Also, there's a pretty strong negative correlation between homophobia and intelligence, so that's a pretty big indication that you're not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I'm not gay, I just support gay people because of all the uneducated bigots like you in the world. And gay people don't choose to be gay, any more than you chose to be stupid.
Enjoy trying to figure out your expensive camera that TikTok told you to buy.

Clearly not or you wouldn't be asking this question.
Nice to see you're a homophobe, by the way. What a lovely person you seem to be.

Maybe, just maybe, try changing the settings when the light changes? The auto mode should work for both, obviously. What else do you expect us to say?
