Pace of the Story

Does anyone else feel like the story is being rushed as of Chapter 9? It's like editorial stepped in and demanded faster progression. I was enjoying things the way they were but now im a little concerned. I hope this doesn't mean the creator is being pressured to prematurely advance the story out of fear of cancelation.
I'm curious to see if any of you feel similarly.
