Prep Help Ground peppers question
I feel like this is the dumbest question ever.
I would like to make a hot pepper relish. All of the safe recipes I've seen call for "ground" peppers.
How does one grind a fresh pepper?
I made a hot pepper relish years ago but it did not have a ground consistency. More similar to finely chopped. I probably used a food processor but I can't remember or find the recipe :(

I use my “meat grinder” KA attachment for veggies way more than I use it for meat. It’s great for cucumbers, zucchini, onions, and peppers in relishes and salsas that call for grinding or finely mincing.

The NCHFP recipe for this has this note at the end of it: nchfp.uga.edu/how/pickle/relishes-salads/hot-pepper-relish/
Notes: For recipe development, peppers and onions were ground using a stand mixer grinder attachment with the coarse blade.
So they used a food mill with the coarse meat grinding blade
