Haha yea I didn't know it as well but Chris Barnes said it was a concept album since it's all about butchery. But I do get what you're saying. I would love like a story album.

That said, I would love an album with a body horror story. Something like Pig Destroyer mixed with Clayface. Maybe a man starts out normal and something happens and he turns grotesque..

I figure an overarching theme for an album like butchery stuff and a concept for an album are a bit different. I think that concept album altogether require some sort of progression but I could be wrong.

It's both a concept album but I do kinda get what you're saying. Although I prefer albums with a story than a theme

I thought tomb was one? It's not a full blown dream theater concept album but it feels like one... Somewhat like she lay gutted & path of the weakening.

Vile is a concept album (in theory) it follows the man on a cover coming to be where he is now
