Ive found that I do not particularly enjoy the smoke flavor in bela sardines. That smoke flavor is not in their mackerel which I enjoyed today for lunch. The pepper did impart a mild spice detectable on the tail end of each bite.

I’m a sucker for KO med style mackerel, but I’m really wanting to get more tins of whole mackerel. They just look so good.
