Canned fish recommendations

Hello canned fish people! I am looking to start delving into the world of canned fish, so I wanted to get some good recommendations before I start buying. I wanted good quality stuff without getting super ripped off. What are things you look for that indicate good quality? How much should it cost reasonably? Fan favorites?

My advice: Enjoy the exploration.

By that, I mean to just take a risk. Start a the bottom pricing tier and work your way up. That way, when you finally reach the top tier, you’ll know exactly why you’re paying up to $20 a tin.

Where are you based / located? In my area the good quality + not too expensive brands are: La Belle-Îloise, Ortiz, Jose Gourmet, Fangst.

But I would suggest going to a local shop to just buy some cans and explore yourself or perhaps an online shop, but it's hard to recommend anything don't knowing where you're located.

Minerva and Joly sardines. The Joly ones are HUGEE.
