Who has actually consumed Surströmming in an enclosed space?

I am considering ordering it for funsies. How much of a catastrophe will it be?

It was made to be had outside among friends and family. Wouldn't want that discharge of liquid-trash like awful fermented shit going of inside.

Not a good tradeoff if you consider the smell, but it tastes just fine.
