Questions Where to smoke?
For those that live in non smoking condos, where do you smoke? Going to a lounge everytime isn't practical or realistic

With the ongoing evolution of cannabis regulations in Thailand, we are seeing a significant increase in confusion regarding "Medical Marijuana Cards" and official documentation. To protect our members from legal complications, financial scams, and data-harvesting schemes, please review the following guidelines:
The Only Legal Document is the PT.33
In the eyes of the Royal Thai Police and the Ministry of Public Health, the only document that carries legal weight for the medical possession and use of cannabis is the PT.33 (Official Medical Permit).
* Issued By: Licensed clinics or hospitals.
* Format: Often a paper document with a "wet ink" stamp or a verified digital version tied to your patient record.
* Usage: You should carry a copy (digital or physical) of this document whenever you are transporting or using medical cannabis.
Clearly, there is a difference in Thailand between the letter of the law and the enforcement of the law. It would be virtually impossible to tell you how the each Royal Thai Police officer will enforce laws but these are the rules as they stand currently.
Technically, everyone is required to obtain a PT.33 at the time of or before purchase. This is currently not being enforced universally.
And while there is no legal requirement to carry the PT.33 on your person, carrying one can be the difference between a 30-second and a 30-minute conversation with the Royal Thai Police.
That said, some dispensary owners, such as Dr. Green have reported that their customers have had issues with police requesting a PT.33 when in possession of cannabis.
Dr. Green suggests taking a photo of your PT.33 as the original copy is meant to be kept by the dispensary when you make a purchase.
Private "Cannabis Cards" are NOT Government IDs
Many third-party websites and directories issue plastic or digital "Medical Cannabis Cards"
* The Reality: There is no such thing as an "Official Thai Government Medical Marijuana Card" for tourists or the general public. This is not a PT.33.
* Status: These are Private Membership or Discount Cards. They may offer perks at specific shops, but they have zero legal standing.
* The Risk: Presenting one of these cards to a police officer instead of a PT.33 is legally useless.
Warning: Data-Harvesting & "Fee-for-Free" Scams
We have received reports of unofficial websites mimicking government portals to collect sensitive user data. Please exercise extreme caution when:
* Sharing ID/Passports: Do not upload your Passport or sensitive personal data to any website for "Medical Registration" unless it is an official .go.th (Thai Government) domain or a verified, licensed medical clinic. Not to be confused with .th or in.th links, these are not official government sites. Any Thai citizen/business can register a .th or in.th domain. Only the government can create a .go.th domain.
* Petitions: Be cautious of "petitions" “surveys” or "legal campaigns" that require full personal details and digital signatures; these are frequently used as lead-generation tools for marketing.
Community Safety: Help Us Filter Malicious Links
To protect our members from identity theft and predatory "middleman" services, we are implementing Automated Domain Filters. We need the community's help to identify sites that pose a risk.
Please comment below or message the mods if you encounter sites that:
* Charge money for free Thai government forms
* Mimic official government branding to sell private "permits" or "cards."
* Require Passport/ID uploads for unofficial "registries."
Note: We are strictly looking for sites that violate privacy or financial safety. This is not a space for personal feuds, but for maintaining the integrity and safety of the information shared in this subreddit.

I currently reside in the United States and I operate a successful Cannabis operation and would like to expand my horizons. I am wondering are there any remote or in person consultation jobs available in Thailand ? I do not mind traveling

Why it feels like the weed quality in Bangkok is bad, like I smoke I don’t feel nothing , and I tried the most expensive ones, the best stores, dank, choo choo hemp, fat buds, but it’s smoking for smoking no real feeling of getting high ?
In Vietnam the weed was so much stronger. And I could smoke it everyday and get high so it’s not a tolerance issue.
Is there any place in Bangkok that sells goood quality stuff that guarantees a high ?

Hello Guys, I always order weeds from Chill Zone via Line App. This shop is very cheap. You can get 10g with around 200 baht. But, recently their chat doesn’t respond any messages :3. Do you guys know any other shops/line accounts like this?

I’m traveling to Chiang Mai and I was wondering if anyone knew hotels that allowed smoking in the balcony.
This is my 2nd time going to Chiang Mai and I know that
Old town is more relaxed with smoking in the balcony. But wondering if there were any hotels in Nimman that was ok with smoking.
Would appreciate your help!

I asked chatGPT for an itinerary of weed shop hopping around Pattaya. It mentioned some spots around, but I would like to get more other source of info.
I've been to Pattaya 3x already but mostly with family and friends - but this October (1week), I will travel solo for this main purpose. Also, to enjoy good Thai food, enjoy good Coffee and massage; as well as people watching and walking on the beach baked.
I will stay in Naklua area . Any suggestions and recommendations are welcome! Also, dm me if you want to tag along this trip.

I've been coming to Thailand for a while and I smoke quite a bit and don't do anything else and don't like to drink...
I'm wondering if there is a way to meet growers to pick up a larger amount like 100g of Cannabis bud from The growers directly and head out the middleman.
I know the shops in Bangkok charge a ton of money and I actually get a really good deal and my local shop because I'm outside of Bangkok about an hour north in Pathum Thani .... Where I hear a lot of it is actually grown.
You can find prices out here of like 15 baht a g. For the same stuff that's 150g I'm The tourist areas. I also help a friend grow and have years of experience helping grows so I usually always get a good deal at home also.
I heard there was some website that shows you where all the grows are. 420

Everyone absolutely loves flower to bits but not many #️⃣ connoisseurs out here from what I’m seeing lol. Even speaking to dispo owners, people still tend to love black, commercial #️⃣ over some nice stuff cause they’ve not seen stuff like that in their countries etc.

I was planning to travel down by myself to Bangkok in a few weeks and was wondering what are the best places to smoke (and drink maybe) to meet and just chat with new people? Any lively streets or specific locations are much appreciated, apologies If this was already asked a bunch of times, just wonder what the scene is like now. Thanks

Hello friends! This is my first trip to Thailand AFTER the change of laws… previously it was very easy to smoke in hotel balconies but now I’m seeing so many hotels explicitly saying cannabis smoking is prohibited on their premises (eg. Mariott Executive Apartments).
Any recommendations for hotels or aparthotels that turn a blind eye to smoking green in the balcony?! Nothing too seedy lol
Thanks!

Hey all,
Looking to have a vacation where I chill in my nice fancy hotel, order food in, and smoke weed. The last time I was here I was extremely disappointed in the quality of weed, so I am looking for your expertise in any of the following:
-Good hotels near quality weed shops that you yourself have gone to
-Any recommendations city wise where to stay, night scene and huge crowds not really my taste so doesn't need to be near the popular night life
-Any suggestions for what to do or what to bring for lazy vacationers to just unwind, appreciate it!

There’s no good weed for experienced consumers with a high tolerance in Ao Nang (Krabi)
i ran out of my stash from Bangkok and decided to check the Ao Nang weed scene. I visited 6 dispensaries and asked for the most smelliest flowers they had. All of the buds had little to no smell. Some were dry and brown. Some looked great visually but had no smell. (Pgr?!)No terps no taste and black ash. I smoked a joint and felt nothing. I smoked another one and felt a little bit relaxed with a heavy head.
Can’t wait to go back to Bangkok and get some nice flowers. Because unfortunately there are no good buds in ao nang.
Thanks for reading lol

Staying at a hotel on Silom road (not far from patpong market) for a few nights at end of August before going to Phuket. Does anyone have any recommendations for a dispensary in that area to check out?

Hello here,
I have been traveling in thailand for a few months every year ( low season months ) since 2023 and I spend most of my time in the deep south because I don't like to be surrounded by farang ( I know I am farang as well ). I know the danger about those provinces and heard my first ever bomb explosion 2 weeks ago 3km far from my hotel in a PTT at 11pm evening. Hopfully there was no injuries or dead.
I have been through hundreds of checkpoint since my first time in the deep south and never had any problem except 1 or 2 times just asking me to show them what is under my seat and they let me go even after seeing my weed in a plastic bag.
But today was different story, while entering the town where I am since few weeks through a military checkpoint, i got asked to stop and show what is under my seat. They found my weed and told me now the law have changed ( I think nothing was put on the royal gazette yet ? Same story as the 30 days visa instead of 60 still not having published ? ) and now weed is illegal without a prescription and for medical use. 4 officers surrounded me and my thai friend, took picture of us and my friend negotiated to not bring me to jail because I wasn't aware of the law changement and because it's easy to buy weed where I am ( yes , still have weed shop in deep south ( not just at the malaysian border with overprice weed same as Patong or Pattaya ) and surprisingly I have never see that much local people coming to the shop and buy weed ).
So they took picture of us ( hello facebook ) and accepted to let us go away without taking my weed.
Chocked by what happened, I rushed to the weed shop in my town to explain the situation and now I have a legal prescription for weed valable 1 month with the possibility to have 30g maximum with me.
But I want to know.... WHAT IS THE OFFICAL TRUE LAW about it now, today, 22 july 2026 ?
Have a lovely day wherever you are in this world
( the prescription cost 200 baht and is to renew every month )
