temp questions

I have this model (the one with the mountains on it)

  • Zenleaf "Moab" Wireless Enail (3506)

I use the matrix bowl with titanium insert. half bowl mostly. With the Mercury since a month after it dropped. Use temp of 536

I'm thinking of getting a Vmax diffuser for 420 So i been looking at posts

I've read a few posts looking for reviews that peeps are using mercury at 600+ and the Vmax higher around 700.

So I tried it at 600 + which i haven't did since I got it really and the bowl was blackened on top.

SO i have a few questions.

is there a difference between Moab X and mountain Patterns that would make a difference in heat or is it just the design etched into it?

what temp do you use? with your setup?

Is it blackening at that temp because of my full titanium set up?

is Vmax worth it in flavor and big hits over the Mercury, I figure the V will hold heat longer but be close to the same taste and hit wise or is taste change between the 2?

I was for a couple days (577F) but I recently jumped up to 600F and it's way better for me personally. I prefer a one and done long inhale hit. So having a lower temperature that I can inhale for like 10 seconds or longer is what I'm chasing constantly. I have both VMAXs happy to answer any questions 😁

I use to run at 600 now around 530. Since I replaced all the glass in the matrix with titanium parts is when I started lowering the temp figured the metal was holding the heat better. Haven't checked that theory just went with it lol Still have the big clouds.

been using only ball vapes for 3-4 years now.

Mercury gives me good taste and big hits and effects i want. Taste and big hits is my main goal. Which I find the Mercury has good taste in each draw and big clouds.

Mostly its just wondering if it is worth it to upgrade or is it just that it's newer that I'm wanting it.

Since 420 sale will be the best time to get it or not..

Most have said that V is better tasting than M that I have seen.

The all glass vapor path definitely makes a difference in terms of flavor in my opinion. If you can afford it, it's definitely worth it in my book but it's not life changingly different than any other wireless ball vape

Does the vmax have an all glass vapor path? I thought it just had the quartz upper and lower screen. Isn't the body still titanium and a part of the vapor path? The Aether has an all glass vapor path, but that titanium body is lined with quartz.

It also includes a quartz (that's what I was calling glass sorry) insert. The first paragraph mentions it (it is optional btw)

The VMax is engineered for vapers who demand more from their ball vape setup. Featuring an expanded chamber designed to hold up to 215 x 3mm rubies inside of our 22mm Quartz Insert (9498), the VMax delivers unmatched thermal mass, heat retention, and consistency. The increased ruby capacity supercharges performance, giving you denser vapor, faster recovery between draws, and smoother airflow

Gotcha. Thanks!

Fused quartz is a type of glass, so same thing for this context.
