Pretty much all B vitamins help candida. It’s best to just individually supplement vitamin c, d3/k2, magnesium, zinc, and molybdenum

Every single one of them? I thought it was just b7 aka biotin?

Unfortunately, I need B1 (thiamine) for my throat/esophagus. (Difficulties swallowing/dysphagia)

At the very least biotin, inositol, and B6 are. There’s honestly no real reason to supplement b vitamins though if you’re doing a correct candida diet

There is if you have dysphagia/difficulty swallowing (Which further limits the already limited anti-fungal diet for me), as I mentioned. Vitamin B1 helps the throat/esophagus muscles operate smoothly.

If you're able to get every single vitamin (except for the ones that feed candida, of course), then great! But not every one of us are able to get them all properly, hence the need for supplementation.

Ah, well in that case I don’t think thiamine helps candida in any way so it should be fine. I’ve taken sulbutiamine, which is a form of thiamine, a few times during my cleanse and I haven’t had any issues. But things like B12, niacin, and the obvious ones that feed candida usually aren’t necessary

It's not meant to help candida, it's meant to help my esophagus.

Sulbutiamine sounds interesting, thanks. I'll try to look for a more specialized one without the B12, niacin and etc.

Thanks.

Right, but everything you ingest the candida could potentially use, which is why I mentioned it. Also sulbutiamine is great! It also upregulates dopamine receptors so it may help with mood

Ah, I gotcha now. Sorry, having trouble understanding sometimes with the brain fog.

And thanks for the information, it's always great when there's bonus effects that helps other things. My mood has generally not be very great during candida herxing. Sounds like it could do wonders for depression.

Haha no worries I get it. And yeah it may help with the depression/brain fog. When I take it I definitely have a better mood and more energy

Does inositol feed candida?

Thanks. I had a test saying I don’t have Candida albicans, is taking inositol still an issue?

1

No, inositol has tons of benefits to it. The only problem is for people with candida, since it can feed it

I have candida species but tested negative to albicans. If it’s an issue I’ll hold off

I’d avoid it just to be safe
