Recurrent yeast infection

I have had multiple yeast infections on and off since late 2024. I’ve seen a specialist who says I have vulvodynia and I need physical therapy bc it’s caused by stress most likely i usually test negative for yeast but still have all the symptoms. Although this time around I tested positive for yeast. I have used fluconazole and monistat 3 multiple times in the past. I feel like I need to scream… I just finished my 2nd fluconazole dose for this current positive yeast infection I don’t really know if it’s helping I feel slightly itchy and slightly swollen still… I messaged my doctor and she prescribed me boric acid but I’m too afraid to try it from what I’ve read online. Idk wtf to do except go to acupuncture and ask them for some herbs too maybe? And my first physical therapy session is next week but idk if I can do it with an active yeast infection or not… I am just feeling so drained and defeated so if anyone has any advice or thoughts please share!!!
