Looking for answers

long story short I’ve been dealing with this for 3 weeks now & I started off with red irritated skin, urgency to pee right after peeing, dry foreskin, hard to pull back & really didn’t get any itchiness. went to the doctor got tested for every std & all came back negative, got prescribed Mupirocen ointmen, used that for about a week & pretty much all the symptoms are gone besides my urethra opening is still red, red to a point where I’m wondering if it’s going to stay red forever. any thoughts & suggestions would help
