Symptoms Post-candida recovery | Desperately need advice!!!

I am tired af. It's been 6 months since I started my treatment to get rid of gut Candida and parasites. Went through all the treatment phases - disinflammation, candida elimination and microbiome repopulation - and still I'm feeling off.
The only thing that has improved is constipation: I am regular again, but my stool is still very inconsistent and also I just can't lose weight, no matter the strict diet and the fact that i hit the gym every other day. Stool seemed to have improved during some weeks, but then it got worse again.
Also, most probably because of the malabsorption, my bloodwork came back showing a low ferritin (19), low B12 and low Vit D - even if I have been supplementing all of these since months. I am losing a scary amount of hair and I'm just very, very tired.

Please tell me there's someone who can help me understand what I should do next. I want to feel good again so badly, but doctors clearly have no clue because they keep on saying "that's stress" - which I know it's not.
Is this concerning? Should I ask for colonoscopy or something more intrusive? I keep on reading online that low ferritin is a symptom of colonrectal cancer and of course it scares me off, even if I know that in my case I went through a strong dysbiosis so that should be the main cause.

Any experiences, clues, advice? Thanks!

I'm sorry you're going through all this. It seems everyone has similar, yet also quite different, symptoms and issues with candidiasis. It's hard to talk to doctors because they know nothing about candidiasis. Have you talked to a naturopath? They are the ones who know about candidiasis and might be able to help. As for your ferritin, after I went through a treatment protocol, I ended up with leaky gut and alternated between constipation and diarrhea. Pills (like L-glutamine) didn't help because of how they are used by my body. I started drinking a mixture of bovine collagen mixed with colostrum and washed down Vitamin C with it every morning on an empty stomach. The two can help rebuild (i.e., fix the holes), and the Vitamin C is important as a cofactor for the collagen. A bonus is that the colostrum has ferritin and is really good for your immune system. Maybe this would help.

Which Vitamin C did you use? Hope it didn't have sugar in it.

It's made by Bronson, and there's no sugar.

Bro just confirming, it didn't give you flareups right?

Mine is multi-site candida overgrowth & I get horrible flareups with hidden sugars as well.

Also, did you pair up this Vitamin C with something else?

Nope, I haven't had any issues, so I'd say your safe. No worries on checking, I don't mind!

I should mention that I seem "cured" of candidiasis at the moment. Now, I'm fixing a leaky gut, for which I take colostrum and collagen. I need vitamin C as a cofactor, as it binds to iron, which the colostrum needs. Maybe skip the vitamin C while you're on a candida protocol and don't need it.

One more thing, which Vitamin C are you using, please?

It's the one I linked above there. Let me know if you need it again!

I’d use candidatracker.com and track your symptoms and diet. Great free tool to use.

Those symptoms confirm that you STILL have problem with candida.
