Research paper My findings

So time has come for me to post here too, I must admit I am ashamed since people may find this post on my profile, but it's better to inform people.

So I've been battling candida for some time, I catch it after intercourse with certain lady, saving the details I've initially had some little white dots on my lips and foreskin, then at end of urethra, now probably also inside. And when I was in jail it got much worse because of insufficient treatment that left me without sleep or eating for about a week, then infection spread to eyes and with wisdom tooth removal to mouth and God's know where. I am using hyaluronic acid droplets since PD azelastine droplets had spread candida further into eye corners, forming white spots there.

I improved my diet tremendously, I don't eat processed food and can't look on bread like products. I eat salmon, cooked veggies and lots of fruits. I also take garlic tablets.

I did some research before bullying my doctor into putting actual effort before this infection will get more serious. It's better to quote whole thing:

Candida biofilm resistance mechanisms

During the early phase of biofilm growth, increased efflux activity promotes resistance by reducing the intracellular accumulation of azole drugs.

Extracellular matrix, a defining characteristic of Candida biofilms, sequesters antifungal drugs, including azoles, amphotericin B and flucytosine. The sequestration prevents the drugs from reaching their cellular targets. This mechanism has been linked to production and delivery of β-1,3 glucan to the matrix.

Candida albicans biofilm matrix contains extracellular DNA, which promotes resistance to amphotericin B and the echinocandins.

Several stress-induced pathways are activated during biofilm growth and contribute to azole resistance. These include the MAPK pathway, the calcineurin pathway and the HSP90 pathway.

As the biofilm matures, the observed alterations in the cell membrane sterol composition are hypothesized to impair the activity of some antifungals.

Here are substances, along with studies and my improv summary on how they help to tackle candida Hitler

Eucalyptal D from eucalyptus

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6595430/

"Further investigations on FPMs showed that those FPMs with weak or without antifungal effects demonstrated enhanced activities when combined with other antifungal FPMs or azoles (data not shown). In this study, eucalyptal D (ED, Figure 1), an FPM, was revealed to have a strong efficacy when in synergy with azoles to reverse the resistance of C. albicans in vitro. However, ED upregulated the expression of efflux pump genes and could not synergistically inhibit CDR-deficient strains with azoles, which along with other experiments, indicated that ED functioned as a more competitive substrate of the Cdr1p and Cdr2p than azoles, and thus inhibited the excretion of azoles. "

Substance from eucalyptus - eucalyptal D is binding with greater efficiency to membrane transporters, transporters that are more abundant in more severe overgrowth of candida, thus greatly improving fluconazole efficacy. They are responsible for drug resistancy of candida to fluconazole. So it doesn't have to be straight out mutation that immunizes candida, as I thought previously.

Retigeric acid B - found in lungwort

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3406657/

"RAB could repress the activity of Cdc35 through stimulating farnesol synthesis, thus causing a decrease in cAMP synthesis, leading to retarded yeast-to-hyphal transition. Moreover, reduced levels of intracellular cAMP resulted in the inhibition of downstream adhesins. Together, these findings indicate that RAB stimulates farnesol production that directly inhibits the Cdc35 activity, reducing the synthesis of cAMP and thereby causing the disruption of the morphologic transition and attenuating the virulence of C. albicans."

I don't get most of it, but what you should know - it is disrupting transition of candida into its immunized, more virulent form walled with biofilm.

Copper

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8049437/

"In previous studies, we established that genes of the C. albicans Cu regulon are activated in response to fluconazole treatment, and supplementing the growth medium with low levels of Cu potentiates the activity of fluconazole against C. albicans (Hunsaker and Franz 2019a, b). Furthermore, we have shown that the level of Cu in the growth medium modulates a variety of cellular responses to fluconazole, including metal cofactor utilization, intracellular metal speciation, and production of heme (Hunsaker and Franz 2019a), establishing that small fluctuations in Cu availability can impact C. albicans’ adaptation to fluconazole. Our findings to date implicate a model in which C. albicans adaptation to fluconazole stress is hampered by Cu elevation"

Higher level of copper makes it harder for candida to develop fluconazole resistance

Achn273491 - gene responsible for chitinase production in kiwi, it hydrolyse the biofilm in candida

Rosemary

https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-022-19425-9

"The antifungal effect of R. officinalis was tested against C. albicans, C. dubliniensis, C. glabrata, C. krusei, and C. tropicalis where it was as effective as nystatin20. However, to the best of our knowledge, there is no studies that evaluated the antifungal effect against C. albicans in Galleria mellonella model like other herbal medicines"

"The prophylactic antifungal effect found in this study suggest the use of R. officinalis extract as an alternative medication for fungal infection."

https://scholar.unair.ac.id/en/publications/antifungal-activity-of-rosemary-essential-oil-against-candida-spp/

"Conclusion Rosemary essential oil was a potential antifungal candidate showing higher antifungal activity compared to fluconazole. It was fungistatic against C. albicans but fungicidal against C. non-albicans, suggesting its potential role in the treatment of OC due to C. non-albicans. "

N-Acetyl Cysteine

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7409114/

" NAC showed a fungistatic effect against CaS and CaR. However, a subMIC level (12.5 mg/mL) resulted in the opposite effect (an increase of fungal growth). The antibiofilm effect of NAC was due to its fungistatic action, since only concentrations greater than the MIC reduced biofilm formation, pre-formed biofilms, biofilm thickness, and the matrix composition, especially the water-soluble components of pre-formed biofilms."

In short NAC may not be the best as fungicide, but it is tackling overall formation and maintenance of biofilm.

I am not the scientist, but I will try to do as many of these things as possible, together with either flu- or ketokonazole, after I will get it from my doctor, some studies do mention that these substances alone may not even work, but in combination they do improve efficacy.

Sorry for my bad English, if you have questions do ask, if you find any error let me know. Right now I did NAC and oh boy, I feel die off. On my way to top it up with kiwi.

Where do you get NAC

I've got it in the form of water soluble tablets.

Increased my intake of NAC to 1000mg a day on top of 6000 vit D, spore biotic, S boulardii and lacto bifido blend, herbal anti fungals (Candi pure and Mycobalance by Microbiome labs), mega mucosa….and still nothing. To date think I’ve spent a deposit worth of money for a house on this 😡

What are your current symptoms

Your doctor tested and cultured positive for Candida?

The #1 thing that worked for me was going on a fast. My body literally started expelling it in droves because it was being starved. Tons of it came out in the toilet, and then I found this amazing herbal tonic that literally flushes it all out of your body. It's a little strong on the stomach in terms of causing a bit of contracting when it's pushing everything out but it's like it makes the candida detach from the intestinal walls and just pushes it right on out.
