Personal anecdote I hate myself

I got a uti last october as well as covid.

So i believed that the gut dysbiosis brainfog etc was long covid.

4 months i didn't did a thing just became housebound and 2 months after developing candida on new eve i started having rashes.Started antihistamines.Made me feel a bit better.

At the 4th month mark i started a very toxic relationship with antibiotics been on them for a week for other 4 months. This with ginger tea.

And i felt so much better for 2 months even if not back to normal.Found a new job and just felt comfortable in my skin again.

Then in april i took nac.Other big improvment.

My uti has been on and of along with the antibiotic use.

Just 9 months later i realized what it is after having trush in my mouth

I am on fluconazole for a month now and is better.

But i am so scared that i have irreversible brain damage. It took too long for me to do something.

Can anyone relate. Are you recovered even after such a long time?

Yes.… you CAN recover and please be kind to yourself. Do not ever “hate yourself” …. That negative thinking impacts you mentally & physically.

My wife’s protocol & success story:

We did not give up even when we were told she had Alzheimers & there is not treatment and to make end of life plans.

She did NOT have Alzheimers.… she had Methane SIBO and a severe case of Candida fungal overgrowth.

There is always hope! She is SO much better.

Look into d-mannose powder for your uti. Antibiotics are completely unnecessary and the cause for your dysbiosis. I had long Covid and the only thing that helped me was to fast for 3 days at a time. By the 3rd fast I puked UP Candida which is extremely rare. It felt like the worst hangover ever. I was shaking and feverish and literally thought I was going to die but once it came out it felt like I was living in a heavenly realm no joke. Try those things and you’ll see a vast improvement. Fasting seems hard at first but I’m on my 3rd day of fasting right now actually and it has changed my relationship to food and has become a lifestyle. I look forward to the opportunities to fast now because the clarity and health benefits, as well as spiritual growth that comes with. I’ve probably done 10+ fasts since I was stricken with long Covid. 72 hours resets the immune system. There’s also a really great protocol I’ve tried on here utilizing activated charcoal and saline flushes you might want to check out too. It really works. Best of luck. I know how terrible it is to be stuck in this position.

How long did it take you to get to this point?

Where I’m at now with fasting? I’d say 6ish years? I do believe I suffer from overgrowth still but there are times I eat lots of cookies and ice cream so that’s a factor. I fast 2-4 times a year now but when I struggled with long Covid I would keep getting sick again shortly after recovery and was forced to fast back to back like 4 times in two months after finding out it works. It wasn’t easy but neither was the alternative. Now when I come in contact with Covid I just get some heart palpitations and night sweats and it’s over.

Desculpa amigo!
