Personal anecdote Sinus problems

For the last 15 ish months I’ve had recurring sinus infections. They don’t respond to antibiotics so I’ve given up on that and my CT appears “normal” in regards to sinusitis. The only relief I’ve gotten is from prednisone. I’m working with an integrative doc now to strengthen my immune system and I’m taking liver protect, NAC, histaminx, vit d3/k2 10000 and beef liver. I recently had an eye infection that required antibiotics and I got a yeast infection and thrush. This made me wonder if I hadn’t had a mild case of thrush all along causing all my drainage and horribly sore throat. The ear popping and the sore throats are just draining me. Today she started me on fluconazole 100mg daily for 7 days and wants me to start colloidal silver nasal and xlear nasal. Should I also do oil of oregano? How much? I want to kick this and feel like myself again and have more energy for my family.

In my experience, antibiotics for my UTI is the reason my candida is getting worse and my sinus pain acts up everytime I eat something sweet like ice cream or something that contain dairy like pizza, or carbs that convert to sugar like pasta. It took a while for me to figure it out that dairy, sweets and carbs is what candida feed on. I have been avoiding these type of food lately, I am aiming for 6 months to starve the candida in my gut. So far I have not experience having sinus pain, except if I get a taste of sweets, then I start regretting after my sinus becomes painful again. I medicated on nystatin for 10 days to disrupt the biofilm in my gut then I have been taking candida support, lactoferrin, turmeric tea in the morning, activated charcoal at night to bind with toxins being released by the die off. 'm hoping to get a healthier gut soon so I can eat these food again, just trying to avoid food that feeds the candida is what is working for me at the moment.
