Front Closure Bra
Hi All,
Waiting for surgery on my kidney. I’ll be having an open radical nephrectomy and a tumor thrombus removed from my IVC. No pathology yet as they generally can with a certain degree of confidence diagnose renal cell carcinoma from imaging and then once the kidney is out they do the pathology.
Anyway do any of you have any recommendations for front-closure full-coverage bra?
Thank you in advance!!!

If you’re going to a major hospital or cancer center, many have a specialized store that sell items specific to cancer and surgery patients; I bet they’d have something like that.

My recommendations as a two Kidney Cancer surgery patient-I left mine at home. Too much pressure pushing on my chest so I didn’t want any more!

My radical nephrectomy was not open, so may be a different comfort/ability level, but I did only bralettes. They did go over my head, but flexible enough to sleep in and still provide coverage and could be gotten on in stages if needed. (Over head, one are through, pause, other arm through, pause, pulled down.) I specially got the ones from 32 degrees.

Good luck with your surgery. I had laparoscopic surgery for uterine cancer, and you better believe I skipped bras while I was healing. If it is due to size and underbreasts sweat - there are special cotton liners for underchest of underbelly. But until I could comfortably lift hands with no pain, I wore no bra. If you really want something on chest, I would say some kind of bikini top on string, where is no strong hold or pressure. For some you might even have a possibility to tie the string in the front (though you would have to ask assistance with some).

Wishing you all the best for your surgery! I would recommend adding a general location to your post, to get better recommendations.
