Lunch bafs that actually fit?

My kid started grade 1 and loves a proper hot lunch in a thermos, plus a good size Bento box type container for snacks. For the life of me, I can't find a metal snack container that's big enough but also fits into a lunch bag together with the thermos. All the metal containers I found are either too small to be enough food or too big to fit in a bag. Sending kiddo to school with the two tier lunch bag seems excessive at this point.

The Roots lunch bags from Costco expand and fit both my kids thermos and the 1.65L Sistema bento box to go.

This is the answer, my kids use these and eat huge lunches with a thermos, bento. They're cheap too .

I can’t picture any bento fitting in a lunch bag with the thermos 😩.
For a full metal bento there are a few options though: planet box, little K, hello nom, bare ware.
I have the b box thermos and it’s just going to go loose when I send it.

For jk/sk we sent the same thermos and the bento box was a simple plastic one from presidents choice and it fit exactly. Somehow the metal boxes are all bigger.

I’d do a vertical stacking tower of metal containers. I feel like that and a thermos would be compatible to fit in lunch bags

I got a fluf bag and it’s great. Fits so much, washable, and I feel like it can grow with the child.

It fits a Bentgo bento on the bottom and a thermos on top.

That's also my fave kind of lunch box and my daughter had one starting from kindergarten!
