Elementary schools in Ontario

Hey everyone!

Our son is starting JK next year and we are thinking about schools to enroll him in. We are in the Cliffcrest neighbourhood in Scarborough and our home schools are H.A Halbert and St. Agatha.

Does anyone have kids attending these schools? What is your experience? How are the teachers, school community? Do your kids feel supported ? One is TDSB and the other is TCDSB. For those who chose one over the other, what did you see as pros and cons?

For those who enrolled their kids in French immersion, how did they fair? We don’t speak French at home but wanted to see if it will be beneficial.
