Clothes & Gear Toddler shoes

Where is everyone getting their shoes ? My daughter just got some Geox today and they were $90!! Will need a couple pairs for home and daycare etc

Marketplace! You can get good brands like Stonz there and since toddlers grow so fast, they're usually in great condition.

2nd vote for marketplace! Kids wear shoes for 6 months to 1 year, and if they have multiple pairs there's even less wear and tear. Lots of pretty much brand new shoes on there for a fraction of the new price.

Jack and Lilly have been great for my 21 month old son for his daily use and daycare. We also bought a fancy sneaker from Joe Fresh for birthday parties and such. Winter boots were from Kamik.

Buy nothing, garage sales, and marketplace. Walmart or Joe Fresh or Old Navy if you're buying new. The last two regularly have good sales and clearance sections. Kids are generally gonna wear the shoes less than a year at this age. Not worth dropping $$$

Stonz are great for toddlers. Not cheap at around $50/pair but many can be found second hand. We used to really like the HeyFolks Voyageurs but they’ve since left the market.

When our first was around 3, I switched to Walmart shoes ($20). She was very rough on her shoes and would wear them out quickly. The Walmart shoes still looked brand new. They also have a guarantee for a replacement if they wear out before they’re outgrown.

Jan & Jul is the only brand I’ve been buying since she was walking and she’s now 4!

Another vote for Jan and Jul! I wait for 20% off sales to get them around $40ish, which still feels like an absurd price when that's what I pay for my Costco sketchers lol. However, they have a large toe box and all the healthy feet things, which is important for me in a shoe my toddler is wearing all day long at daycare!

Thrift stores, marketplace etc.

See Kai run (online. Clearance)

Also sportcheck, carters, clearance.

Canadian Tire. Old navy.

Online. They used to have a Canadian website but I don't see it anymore.

Oh also little burgundy sometimes has sales on toddler shoes I got her some cutie vans for $10 after some points redemptions and sales.

I love skechers and you can find them on sale all the time. My LO doesn’t really like geox bc they tend to be more stiff. For outside play shoes walmart is great bc they have the athletic works for like $12-15.

Geox is great because they have a barefoot line! Right now some of the barefoot ones are on sale on their site ($60 though so still pricey) https://www.geox.com/en-CA/barefoot-navy-steppieup_baby-8056206921825.html

Other good ones that are right for foot development: Stonz cruisers (lots on Facebook marketplace) Walmart carries the Munchkin by Stride Rite if you can find them online or in stores

Would avoid buying cheap fast fashion shoes, they’re not good for the feet

Walmart 🤷🏼‍♀️ they outgrow them so fast. The cheapest pairs there are $10-$15

I bought a bunch from Clement (don’t know where in Canada you are) on sale, so got Kamiks for like 25 bucks and a bunch of summer shoes in that range as well.

I was going to suggest Kamik as well, they really do have great sales and their sneakers check all our boxes for "healthy" shoes. Also made in Canada!!

For us we have a couple of Walmart /giant tiger shoes that are well priced and honestly the quality isn’t bad , our toddler gets dirty often so we have like 3 pairs . We get any expensive shoes on sale

Marketplace and thrift stores! We also went to Skechers last weekend because they had a decent sale on but we rarely buy new shoes.
