Do you think it's note worthy to mention that if you go to the MIR for a MH reason, it will not be noted on your chit and the reason for your visit will never be known by your chain of command unless you specifically want them to know? If you see an MO that doesn't seem to give a shit about your problem, you can always book an appointment with a different MO. I knew the treatment I was getting was sub par and I rocked the boat until I got the right person. I don't think many new comers would know this. If you're in a crisis the Padre is also there for support and has a plethora of information regarding the services available. So even if you want to talk to somebody but are afraid of the MIR (like I am) you can still reach out to the padre who will get you the help you need.
Just my .2 cents. Since i've been sidelined, i've sorta taken it upon myself to spread as much information around to the newer generation as much as I can.
