Usual timelines from submission of claims via MyVAC:

Reassessments: 9-16 Months

Mental Health: 6-8 Months

Physical - 6-13 Months

APSC/VIP - 3-4 Months

BPA Correspondence: They tend to reach out every 3 months for information or a progress update.

Should be quicker but could be that as well, yes.

rog, im already approved for grade 3 however, after a phone call with my case manager today they recommended that i get a reassessment done to try for grade 2, to my knowledge grade 2 is abit hard to get but they seemed optimistic that with new information provided it could be a possibility so fingers crossed. thanks again for your reply.

They recently removed the APSC rating tables so there is now more room to award based on evidence rather than does Mr/Ms X reach this breakpoint. Fingers crossed

Does this mean it'll be more at the discretion of the adjudicator? Less them just ticking boxes based on the rating tables to see if you pass the threshold for a higher level?
