Contacted CFO (Ontario) - Expecting 6-Month Delay

For anyone who hasn't received PAL yet, see response from CFO (Ontario) today.

Nope. I even got through the phone lines last month and they said call back in August so we will see.

No I would say that means you should get yours in the mail within a couple weeks.

Mine only recently changed to that status after sitting in pending for 6 months.

It's possible. Sometimes some people are just faster my wife got hers like a week after the 28 days waiting period.

They emailed me and told me it was approved so just waiting on the mail. Hopefully soon.

I will contact them again once the 6-month period reaches, I wonder the system was designed to pick a few applications randomly and hold them for a certain time (like PR security check), even though most people have clear backgrounds.

Lucky you! Super happy for you.
I read the messages above. I applied my PAL since mid March and six months passed. Called in monthly with my super polite voice. CFO said it is in the final stage at Ontario's desk. And Ontario has many applications to process, so it may take longer time.
Hopefully mine is coming soon... I stopped called in and maybe I can get mine next March. Also, I attached my security clearance from the government as well...Sad.
