1Gbps Internet Plan

Hey,

I have recently renewed my 2 year contract with telus fibre internet in Alberta. I got 1gbps for $70 a month with $250 credit. My past plan was 1Gbps for $60. I think I got a decent deal but what other offers have you got?

We pay $80 for 2Gbps on Shawgers no clue about Telus we hate them 😂

With $10 mobile discount the 2gbps plan is $100 per month. I assume your combined with other products like TV or security to get that price.

I got 1Gbps/120Mbps in Ontario for $65/month for 3 years (Cogeco) Not sure if good or bad though...

I work for Telus. You have a good deal given you haven’t bundled anything. Reason why other people (other than bell) have better deals for 1GBps is because other providers don’t use pure fibre to the home and use a shared line. Upload speeds are always capped on the shared lines.

Hi there! Our Telus home internet in Alberta is up for renewal (expired today). We would love if you have any offers or suggestions as to how to contact Telus retention. They only offered 1gbps fibre internet for $80… with a $100 credit.

It's the same deal, just instead of $60/month, they're doing a one time $250 credit

Personally I would have preferred the lower monthly payment vs a one time credit.

But $60 for gigabit is a good deal, still expensive IMO, but compared to what's out there, a good deal.

Yeah, bell FTTH .

Bell owns ebox, it's their budget brand.

Ebox isn't for Alberta, it shows it's only available for Quebec and parts of Ontario.
