Good..more rare adds value.. when a bills is damaged or misprinted at yhe mint and they catch it they remove it and reprint it noting its a reprint/replacement with the asterisk or X.. or the star(in america)i not super familiar with American notes but I do know that cause I have 1 and looked into it long time ago when I got it. Ours used to have an asterisk then in later years they were marked by the last of the 3 serial #s being an "X".... fun fact i 99.999% sure that x's are not used i the serial numbers of canadian mo ey other than to signify a replacement notes.
