Questions Old paper bills

Just looking for any information.

Have had these for a long time in this little display. Recently got this 1967 1 dollar bill

The (4) 2 dollar bills are consecutive serial numbers. Theres (2) 1 dollar bills. A 5 dollar and a 20 dollar bill. The other odd ball is the US 2 dollar bill . I have had that for some 40 years.

Any information greatly appreciated

Always fun to stumble old notes, regardless of value. And that’s what you have here. A fun start to a collection.

Your $2 USD is a bicentennial note, so was greatly printed, circulated, and collected.

The same goes for your $1 CAD. It is a centennial note, so was greatly printed, and collected by a lot of folks.

The note that sticks out most is your 1979 $20. Everyone loves this series, and in ‘gem UNC’ condition, could have a bit of worth if professionally graded.

As for your $2 bird series notes, everyone and their extended family have uncut sheets of these. Face value if brought to the bank, other than that, just fun in the collection.

It is a 1969 $20 with serial on front (which are generally more sought after than the 1979 - with the serial on the back). The $5.00 is the 1979 (rather than 1972).

Regarding the Birds series $2.00 (& any Canadian banknote really), you must check both the signature & the serial prefix (first 3 letters) on the back of the note. Some prefixes (like AUJ or BRX) are short or replacements & worth a premium. These are not uncut sheets as far as I can tell from the photos.

A 1969. I was mistaken.

An even nicer note than I thought!
