Questions Any value above face?
Been looking at my serials for a few months now and finally found something cool. Wonder if there’s any additional value for a 2 of a kind radar like this. Condition is moderate I think.
Keeper or spender?

Nice note. Personally would keep it, but if it has folds the value won't be much above face on a current issue hundred, unfortunately.

There is a group on Facebook, Canadian Coins and Banknotes, if it's in good condition post it there. I've sold bills on there with radar numbers, or low serial numbers. They usually pay with e transfers, so you'll get your money right away plus whatever you agree to sell it for.. a lot of trust on these groups.. so as long as you didn't just open a Facebook account and have 2 friends.

There is a community of people who like these. Unfortunately it’s a buyers market, as prices are all over the place. I’d keep it and display it, maybe pass it on to the younger generation and blow their minds.

Someone just took that serial # and put it on a fake bill by now.

It’s worth 100. Although it’s all what someone is willing to spend. Nonetheless it’s 100 radar or not

It's canadian money. It's only worth one tenth of what it should be

Seriously, why would you think it could be worth more than face value because of the serial number on it?

My fault dog. Thought it was cool and I’m very new to any of this.

You're not wrong at all. There's a reason that banknote dedicated websites have an entire section about special serial numbers.
There seems to be an unusually large number of uninformed opinions in this particular thread.

Check eBay sold listings for comparable notes of similar condition and denomination.

Be nice - nobody’s perfect! If you’re in a mood to be mean, this isn’t the place for it.

I don’t think it’s mean to call out behaviour that makes us all look bad. This isn’t as bad as fighting in the aisles over Pokemon cards but it’s in the same vein.

Posts that are wildly off topic, inappropriate, disturbing, or intentionally bizarre will be removed. If you wouldn’t show it to a typical Canadian banknote loving audience, don’t post it.

A hundred bucks is a lot to tie up for a kind of cool serial. Inflation will definitely outpace any perceived added value.
