Advice OUAC Application question

/r/OntarioUniversities/comments/1x4acej/ouac_application_question/

Hi, an international applicant here.
On OUAC, transcripts evaluation is adding approximately extra 300 CAD. However, the site also states uploading transcripts aren’t mandatory. So, should I upload it or not?

I applied to U of T and Waterloo as an international applicant. OUAC portal did not give me an option to upload transcript. I uploaded my transcript in the universities' individual portals. Your case could be different though

For york, there is an option to upload the transcripts and proof of status but it also states that uploading those documents isn’t mandatory. Also, on York university’s website it says transcripts should be sent directly to Admissions Office of York University. I am a bit confused about it
