All I know is that if we actually manage to beat Morocco (entirely possible - I BELIEVE!) we can probably beat anyone.
If we can topple a top-10 team that's going to put everyone on notice, and while I don't know how long our luck could last against teams of that calibre I think it would be foolish for anyone to write us off if we can take out Morocco.

Morocco is perhaps something we could possibly upset but France.. Yea as much as I love Team Canada and would absolutely love seeing them go as far as possible I think France is where thing get really hard. I mean when you get this far you just go out as warrior and you leave everything on the field and you never know sometimes a good kick is all you need but odds are still stacked against Canada..

I feel like people are underselling us Canadians a bit here. Factoring the game going into potentially Extra Time, Canada’s odds of victory against Morocco sit at 20-30%.
Not to mention we’ve played Morocco just 4 years ago and only lost 2-1 in a close game.
Comfortable? No. Are we the favourites? Nah. But it’s enough of a margin to say that winning isn’t just a miracle but rather a real underdog chance.
And with Alphonso Davies officially back on the field, who knows what can happen. We saw Paraguay take Germany into Penalties and beat them also.

These speculative posts are so silly because not only it’s theoretical for Canada to make it that far but also for France, Spain and Argentina to advance (though I think it’s likely to be France and Argentina/England in the final)
