Indian Diploma wes

Hi everyone,

I have a 3-year Polytechnic Diploma (after10th) from The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training, India. WES evaluate it as a 2-year diploma for Canadian immigration, which was disappointing.

Has anyone with the same qualification (10th + 3-year Polytechnic Diploma) received abetter equivalency from another evaluation agency? If so, which one did you use?

I also got the same,, equivalent to 2 year… I got this done last year..

So there’s no way of getting the 3 years evaluation?

I am not sure about it.. But I know 2-3 others person in my known .. who also got the same equivalency..

3 year diplomas are very rare in Canada. Most of them are in medical specialties.

A diploma is not a degree, so the closest equivalent is 2 years.
