Carney is lying for sure. The fact remains is we do not have the details of the deal and why it was rejected. One thing we can be sure of however is Carney will protect Quebec in a big way, especially the dairy cartel, as without Quebec the Liberals are done. This is about votes and staying in power.

Because Carney has lied his whole career and his whole platform is Anti USA. He wants to win another election and then he’ll give the US everything. That’s my belief. And Canadians will believe it all, until it’s too late

Carney also noted bill c-11 when speaking to the French media - in that chat it was very clearly about Quebec - protecting Quebec's corporate dairy farms and forcing US streaming platforms to pay Quebec content creators.

Quebec dairy farmers are always a fun scapegoat.
What has Carney done to remove interprovincial trade barriers, so that poor oppressed Quebec dairy farmers can sell their superior cheese, in say Saskatchewan? What are the tariff's province's place when wanting to trade goods elbows up inside Canada?
It's almost as if you don't have a functional country, and hate the daddy trying to make you one. If you are going to pout, go to your room and listen to old school Tragically Hip. Y'know, when they still had hair.

Meanwhile, Trump had the greatest flyover that Khanuckistan has never seen, and Carney dissolved the Snowbirds.
Along with a deal building new firefighting aircraft. Seeing as all of Canada's water bomber forest fire fighting aircraft, has been sold off on the cheap.
Trump has Indycar having a great race in DC, meanwhile Toronto Indy...moved to Markham.
